
She was born in Istanbul, in 1979. Her interest in painting has begun during her childhood. She took painting lessons from various painters during elementary, junior and high school and she continued taking the training afterwards. She attended a bachelor’s degree on advertising in Bilgi University. By using string as material for art production, she is using as a fixed winding apparent reality like a hank, and using it as a fixing of perception with the comprising of reinterpretion on the relations to woman’ s sexual identity.
While reseaching the limits of painting and sculpture by applying her own with threads, she aims at forming an unusual language in her reality. She dealt with urban and country life by changing place to place, woman’s perception of her sexual identity, society’s perception of woman’s sexual identity, observance of mood of woman when it is reflected to woman. Thus she seeks new relation ways between internal sensation and joint sensation. She joined the mixed exhibition of World Women Day in Nusantasi Art Gallery in 2017. She has been continuing her works in her studio in Istanbul.
